Random thoughts about the promo
*IT’S ABOUT TIME they show Katie involved with soccer
*Fiona “could be anybody” in this school year…that could be a very good or very bad thing.
*Jake must be fighting someone because they tried to eat his chicken.
Other than that I have nothing because the promo is extremely vague, and I’m not the kind of person who tries to speculate a gazillion things from nothing. I’ll just wait for more revealing promos after we cross into the new year.
And though no TeenNick or Much promo will say so now, the date for Season 11.5 to start is still Friday, February 24th.

Do I see Fiona and Imogen hanging out together? Now *this* I could get behind, especially if they continue to tinker with Eli & Imogen. As long as I get some Eli/Fiona interaction out of this, I might just be OK.

What I’m a little curious about is why they still have uniforms…I mean, the uniforms were put in place after the Boiling Point…I guess I assumed that they wouldn’t use them after the school year was over?

That looks nothing like a girl tht jakes fighting wats rong with u ppls eyes 2 me it looks like clares dad maybe he came bak ’cause he wants hellen bak or somethin then ends up fighting jake idk but tht is definitly not clare, her hair is way longer, she is shorter and look at the clothes i know she has granny clothes on sometimes but common MAN CLOTHES!!

I think it is Clare because when Jake pushed the person off of him I saw that the person had on a red degrassi polo and brown jacket the same as Clare was wearing in the next image. Even the hair looks like Clare’s.

I finally figured out who it is…it’s KC. I looked at the picture over and over and it makes some sence…he was evasdropping in jake and jenna while they were talking. All I know is I was wrong before but this time I really think I’m right.

If you stop on the right point 0.10 you will see it’s not a girl it kinda looks like that boy that Claire was talking to on movie night where Jake was with Katie eating popcorn if you think about it

i think he may mean she may question being a lesbian. which, to me, is bad. because I LOVE the fact that Fiona is a lesbian. it makes her different.. like me. I can relate very well to Fiona and her personality and I don’t want that to change!

I HIGHLY DOUBT she’ll be questioning her sexuality. She’s made it clear that she likes girls, and she’s comfortable with that. That’d also be hugely disrespectful of the writers to just flick a character’s homosexuality off, especially towards viewers who can identify with that aspect of her.
I think Kary’s implying that Fiona’s statement could lead to a sudden change in her personality. We do know that she’ll be competing for the queen bee title at school, so hopefully she won’t become a version of s7 Holly J, or s1 Paige.
I’m more interested in Fiona’s new friendships. I just hope that she doesn’t suddenly become BFFs with Marisol and Katie, and forget about Holly J. I hate when two best friends on the show go their separate ways, and the one who remains at Degrassi randomly becomes best friends with someone else the following season, and forgets about the one who left. The same thing happened when Darcy left the show, and Jane and Holly J quickly became best friends. I didn’t dislike the friendship, but it was just weird. And then when Jane graduated, Fiona quickly took Jane’s place.

I kind of feel like Fiona is somewhat of a “clean slate” socially going into these new episodes. Without Holly J there to be her social group/crutch, she’s on her own now. Though we see she hooks up with Katie and Marisol, the possibilities for interaction and storylines with Fiona are wide open.

I have a question (it has nothing to do with the post though). I have netflix on my PS3, but anytime I try to search for Degrassi Junior High, it doesn’t show up. Is it only available on DVD?

I didn’t notice the jake part but you could be right. I remember durning th nowhere to run premiere, Jenna was talking the Jake while KC stood outside listening. Probably a jealously thing

I did a freeze frame on the the guy in the jacket and its not Liam. It looks like an older man with dirty nails maybe a homeless person, an employee or Clare’s dad. I remember reading a story about Clare meeting a woman and she gets Clare into trouble so maybe this part of that story. Who knows??

The girl she is fighting is Maya and the guy that they are fighting over is Zig. I read something that said that Tori likes Zig but Zig likes Maya… I don’t know if its true so don’t yell at me if you don’t agree.

-Fiona will be friends with Katie and Marisol
-Imogen is gonna be very dramtaic
-That was KC and Jake fighting (probally Jenna related)
-Zig and Maya get together (a little Clare and KC flashback :) )

-Katie actually plays soccer and doesnt just talk about it
-I think i see Drew helping her train
-Drew is pissed at Katie over something

I don’t think Eli is going to crazy because of Imogen. I know Eli is on meds for bipolar but he still could still have some minor episodes. Its going to take a long time for him to control his mania and depression. Also in an interview with Annie and Cristine they said there is going to be a little drama between the three of them and also Imogen helps Fiona with the Queenbee thing with Marisol and Katie. Another scenero They probably lie about doing something togeher and Eli finds out and calls them liars.

Regarding the Jake thing, it’s not Clare nor is it an old man. To be honest the person looks young, male and if I were to be sarcastic, reminds me of a mirrored version of Jake. Honestly for a second I thought he was fighting himself. We probably just have to wait and see though instead of speculating.

The guy Jake is fighting looks older than a Degrassi student and they are at Clare’s house. Maybe MR. Edwards or an older person.
I can’t wait for the fight for Queenbee. Fiona and Imogen VS Katie and Marisol. I actually feel for Eli and Drew on this one they are going to be stuck in the middle of the war.
I think KC and Jenna still love each other. Putting up a child for adoption and a big break up can put a lot of weight on you.

Maybe Fiona and Imogen will get together, as a couple. PLease remember that Imogen has a secret she doesn’t want anyone to know and how she knows about “Julia’s” death is kinda obvious… Maybe Imogen killed Julia, just a thought. Don’t believe me, think about it: Imogen has a HUGE crush on Eli and told Eli that she knew about Julia and Eli only told Adam and Clare and Imogen tried to make Eli forget about Clare.. which didn’t work.

When did Imogen talk about Julia?? Julia was not even mentioned all Imogen mentioned was about Vegas night and The Gothic Book convention. Basically saying that Clare always second guessed Eli in my opinion Imogen was right on that. Imogen seriously does not know Eli as much as people think. She thought Eli broke up with Clare not the other way around. I am sure that Imogen fiqured out many things about Eli by rumors or reading news articals. Also note she loves photography. I know Imogen has a big crush on Eli but I think every time she tried to help him it backfired badly. Imogen is like many other girls who would do anything to love and help the guy they like. Imogen is just a insecure girl who wants love but does it the wrong way.

I wish theyd bring Emma and Spinner back and have Emma be a school nurse or something.. I loved her character and she said she wanted to help people. She and Spinner should have a kid together. At least one episode please. And Eli and Claire BETTER get back together..imogen should go jump off a cliff i dont like her and fiona too. please no more lesbian kissing!

are you even old enough to be watching Degrassi?? I sure as hell know you’re not mature enough. Any mature person wouldn’t mind the lesbian kissing, take me for example, I grew up in a very conservative catholic family and i don’t really mind it. If you’re offended by it, you’re watching the wrong show, sweetie! Maybe try the Disney channel.
